MEET Deanna

Deanna Cardenas is a leading Bilingual real estate advisor with Chinowth & Cohen in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, where she builds impactful and long-lasting connections with her clients. Her expertise concerning Oklahoma City’s homes, surrounding areas, and character-rich hamlets, is second to none. “As Oklahoma flourishes and diversity increases, I enjoy serving the Hispanic population; sharing a cultural and linguistic background creates trust, which is a necessity for a great partnership throughout the process of buying and selling real estate.”

Deanna began her career in 2008 as part of an Oklahoma City commercial property management group. Her desire to foster purposeful and meaningful relationships within the community led to her becoming a licensed Oklahoma Realtor. In addition to her professional experiences as a real estate agent, years of property management and investment have only served to enhance Deanna’s qualifications. Business development, event planning, marketing, and nurturing customer relations are all pieces in her significant repertoire. Deanna’s clients think of her as a personal family member, someone to be counted on without reservation.

Recently honored by Governor Stitt, she currently serves on the newly established Hispanic Initiatives Council; a committee promoting initiatives that will create more opportunities and positively impact Oklahoma’s Hispanic families. Deanna is also active in local business and government affairs and passionate about her work with non-profit organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Scouts of Western Oklahoma, Other Options Food Pantry, Scissortail Community Development Corporation, Kingdom Media, and the Annie Oakley Society Leadership Team. Further, Deanna served as a cabinet member for the Generations of Mercy Capital Campaign for the Mercy Health Foundation. The two-year campaign recently reached its $40 million fundraising goal for the Love's Family Women's Center. She is passionate about giving back to Native America and served as a volunteer for The Greater Oklahoma City Total Resource campaign for 18 years and the Green Tie Gala Committee, one of Catholic Charities' most significant fundraising events.

Equally engaged, Deanna is thrilled to be a member of the governing board of the Oklahoma Arts Council, appointed by Governor Stitt for a 3-year term. Her experience in the cultural arts and the modeling industry gave Deanna insights into unique aspects of the humanities and, moreover, how to further the Oklahoma Arts Council's role in ensuring that fine arts education and arts access is a priority for all Oklahomans. She views the arts as an essential asset strengthening Oklahoma City's appeal as a vibrant and diverse place for families and businesses to thrive.
